EAA Engine from Swedish Supplements is a carefully formulated blend of 8 essential amino acids EAA, i.e. amino acids that must be supplied through food because the body cannot synthesize them itself. The amino acids are in so-called free form, meaning they do not have to be digested by the body like a protein, but can be absorbed directly into the bloodstream. When one or more essential amino acids are missing in the body, this becomes a factor that limits protein synthesis, which in turn can impair muscle adaptation to exercise, leading to increased muscle breakdown and negatively affecting a number of metabolic pathways.
